Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan's Purse is an evangelical Christian humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in physical need as a key part of Christian missionary work. The organization’s president is Franklin Graham, son of Christian evangelist Billy Graham. The name of the organization is based on the New Testament Parable of the Good Samaritan, in which Jesus uses a parable to teach people one form of the Golden Rule; "love your neighbor as yourself".
Samaritan’s Purse works in more than 100 countries around the world. International headquarters are in Boone, North Carolina, with additional U.S. facilities in Charlotte and North Wilkesboro, N.C. Affiliate offices are in Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Hong Kong, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Field offices are located in some 20 countries across five continents.

American Baptist Women
The American Baptist Women are committed to Jesus Christ and the missons of the Church. The ABWM provides oportunities for each woman to become and develop as God's person, to help build a better community and world.
ABWM work diligently on many projects within the Church.
Fresh flowers are used on the altar each Sunday and the ABWM break them down and take them to home bound shut-ins at the Nursing home. They sponsor and provide a scholarship girl each year. They collect campbell soup labels, boxtop for education, aluminum pop tabs, and card fronts for the Rainbow Acre Ranch. They provide roller bandages for the missionaries in other countries.

Support Our Troops
The Oak Hill Baptist Church sends out boxes to the troops here at home and overseas.
Basically this is what we do:
We supply the postal boxes and a list of items that they can send.
Collect the names and addresses (e-mails) of service people
Ask for donations of items that can be sent to them according to regulations
Ask for monetary donations to cover the shipping to send the packages
We ask that the package be left open for inspection and for including a New Testament in every box.
Prepare the package and ship it
We also ask for cards or letters to include in the package.
We then put their name and picture on our bulletin board to share with those who donate.
We would love to get your support in this program to make it grow and be successful. Our goals for this program are very attainable
